McMaster University profiles Evercloak’s founders, Evelyn Allen and Dr. Michael Pope
“A million times thinner than a strand of hair.”
That’s how Evelyn Allen (née Jackson), BEng’03 describes graphene, the nanomaterial that could play a big part in the solution to greenhouse global gas emissions. She and another McMaster grad, Dr. Michael Pope (BEng & BioSci’07), have teamed up to form Evercloak Inc., a cleantech startup commercializing a platform technology to develop 2-dimensional nanomaterials in a new way to make them into ultra-thin film coatings.
